Commitment
Part-time (up to 10 hours/week)
Role Responsibilities- Review and label clinical narratives, EHR notes, microbiology reports, and case data related to infectious diseases
- Identify and validate pathogens, diagnostic workups, antimicrobial regimens, resistance patterns, and outcomes
- Audit annotated datasets for clinical accuracy and guideline alignment (IDSA, CDC, WHO)
- Evaluate AI-generated recommendations for antimicrobial selection, duration, and escalation
- Define annotation guidelines for complex infections, including sepsis, endocarditis, and opportunistic infections
- Advise on taxonomy and edge cases such as immunocompromised hosts and emerging pathogens
- Review AI-generated clinical summaries and treatment suggestions
- Provide structured feedback to improve diagnostic reasoning and safety
- Contribute to specialty-specific annotation standards and onboarding materials
- MD or DO with Infectious Disease specialization
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Infectious Disease
- Active U.S. medical license in good standing
- Post-fellowship clinical experience in infectious diseases
- Experience with inpatient consults and complex infections
- Strong familiarity with EHRs, microbiology data, and clinical terminologies
