Position: Physician / Urgent Care / California / Permanent / Urgent Care Physician Job
A healthcare system in California is actively seeking a licensed Family and/or Internal Medicine Physician to join their growing staff in San Francisco as an Urgent Care Physician. In this role, the Urgent Care Physician will be responsible for providingprimary medical care to patients at the Diagnostic Treatment Center or at home as needed. About the Opportunity:

All Ages Responsibilities:
The Urgent Care Physician will:
Manage patients' acute care concerns Assist with common concerns and procedures, including: STI diagnosis and treatment, staple removal, suture removal, pelvic exams, I&Ds, IVs, nebulizer treatment, URIs, coughs, bronchitis, UTIs, chest pain, abdominal pain, psychiatry screening and stabilization, etc. Maintain evidence-based and current knowledge as it relates to urgent care practice and procedures Educate patients on basic primary care topics (hypertension, diabetes, depression/anxiety, etc.)

Begin initial management of acute changes in chronic conditions Document physical exams, procedures and in-office medications/prescriptions Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in an Outpatient Primary and/or Urgent Care setting Licensed to practice in the State of California Board Certified in Family and/or Internal Medicine Your privacy is important to us.
