Founded in the 1940s, Silicon Valley Eyecare Optometry & Contact Lenses has established itself as one of the leading eye care practices in Santa Clara County and Northern California. We are independently owned. The practice offers innovative, quality, and comprehensive eye care, specializing in general optometry, specialty contact lenses, myopia management, low vision, and other ocular specialties.

We are looking to add an Optometrist to support our team of 21 employees. The role involves providing clinical eye care services for patients of all ages, insurances, and visual and medical diagnoses 2‑3 days per week permanently, with an option for temporary maternity leave schedule.

• Provide comprehensive eye examinations and optometric services.
• Fit and manage specialty contact lenses and myopia management.
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases.
• Work independently or collaborate with the team.
• Participate in staff development, business operations, and community outreach.

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) with license to practice in California.
• Knowledgeable in specialty contact lenses, myopia management, and ocular disease treatment.
• Strong passion for patient care and self‑motivated.
• Ability to adapt to independent or team work environment.

• Competitive base pay, production bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, vacation time pay, sick time pay.
• Malpractice insurance during clinic time, continuing education time pay.
• Net salary per month: $8,188.
