Seeking a part‑time, contract Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist (16‑24 hours/week, in‑person) to provide evaluations, medication management, and treatment for youth in a Behavioral Health Services Program in Riverside, CA.
Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for children and adolescents.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, providing follow-up and education.
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, families, and community providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain clinical documentation per agency and regulatory standards, including timely record‑keeping.
- Work independently within professional and agency guidelines, demonstrating leadership and cultural competence.
- Provide coverage for absent psychiatrists as needed.
Valid California medical license, board certification or eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, DEA license, and experience with diverse youth populations. Bilingual skills are a plus.
Compensation is $210-$230/hour, with a flexible schedule.
