Career Launch Course Coordinator Job Summary

The anticipated duration of this assignment is 4 months.
Schedule:
Hybrid 2-3 days a week on Parnassus campus, 2-3 days remote. The coordinator must be on campus to support the in‑person events for the Intro to Career Launch and CODA courses in March‑May. The coordinator will also be asked to support remote Zoom sessions for other courses in Career Launch including Designing and Conducting Research and Physician Identity Weeks. Some student assessment/proctoring work and course evaluation support may also be required.
Collaborate with program managers and faculty to meet the educational needs of Career Launch students and manage the day‑to‑day operations of CL courses and programs, including but not limited to the completion, coordination, and delivery of course materials, room reservations, course content uploaded to the curriculum management system, and communication with the faculty and students. Some student assessment/proctoring work and course evaluation support may also be required.
On‑siteclassroom support
- Work with the campus technology team to ensure the classroom presenter’s computer/projector is functioning correctly and that the lecture is recorded as planned.
- Update classroom reservations as needed.
- Help with special session room set‑up as needed.
- Track student attendance across multiple required activities and follow up with students.
- Update the CLE and Ilios, including changes to student calendars, rooms, and learning materials.
- Use Smartsheet, Qualtrics, Box, and Excel to analyze and organize program information and assessment data.
- Serve as point of contact for students and faculty. Answer questions and disseminate program information. Resolve ad‑hoc issues relative to program students and faculty.
