The Logic School Teacher plays a key role in guiding students as they transition toward greater independence in thought, helping them develop strong reasoning skills, intellectual curiosity, and disciplined habits of inquiry. Through intentional instruction, thoughtful dialogue, and collaboration with colleagues, the teacher equips students to pursue truth with clarity, humility, and confidence.

Ideal Candidate

An articulate, Socratic-minded educator who cultivates reasoning, clarity of expression, and intellectual courage in the Logic stage. They integrate rigorous content with Christian formation to prepare students for thoughtful scholarship and faithful leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Pursue the ACSI Teacher Certification, Classical Educator Equivalent, CA Teacher Credential, or Master’s in Classical Education within two years of initial employment.

Experience

Professional working experience in relevant field(s).

72 hours annually accrued at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked.

100% Employer Paid Healthcare, Computer, equipment & software

Compensation

Annual salary paid bi monthly. Optional partial tuition credit available.

Key Responsibilities

Classroom Instruction Responsibilities

These will be shaped and finalized to suit the right candidate and will include the following:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the classical education philosophy.
  • Organize and manage a structured, orderly, and visually beautiful classroom to promote a peaceful and effective learning environment.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies, routines, and rhythms to foster student responsibility and attentiveness.
  • Monitor student progress, evaluate performance, and provide timely feedback on academic achievement, social-emotional development, and character formation.
  • Maintain and update the gradebook on the school’s server for parent accessibility and transparency.
  • Assist with assessing incoming students to determine grade-level proficiency.
