Chantilly (Washington), VA. Annual salary of $120,000, disbursed weekly. Full health, dental, and vision coverage begins day one. Relocation assistance provided.

• Master's degree in reading instruction OR advanced certification such as Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience providing small‑group reading interventions to early elementary learners.
• Capable of assessing reading proficiency, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independently of pre‑written materials.
• Comfortable using AI and adaptive learning technologies and adjusting instruction based on student interaction data.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Available to work on‑site at the listed locations.

• Facilitating adaptive reading workshops for children ages 4‑7 that build core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension.
• Creating personalized motivational experiences that engage students and nurture a lasting passion for reading.
• Evaluating student performance data to iteratively improve your methods and generate actionable insights.
• Working alongside the technology team to assess and improve AI‑powered literacy platforms.

• Implementing pre‑packaged curricula or following published scope‑and‑sequence frameworks.

Alpha School offers you the opportunity to execute an AI‑powered reading program that redefines early literacy teaching. You will facilitate brief, high‑impact workshops rather than conventional hour‑long sessions. Your work will involve diagnosing the needs of K‑2 learners, developing original evidence‑based lesson content from the ground up, and contributing to the creation of adaptive tools that extend your impact to hundreds of students.

This position is designed for reading specialists who excel without prescriptive curricula and are eager to lead scalable literacy innovation.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
