Dedicated school psychologists play a vital role in supporting students’ well-being and academic achievement. A large educational district in the San Francisco area is expanding its committed psychological services team and seeks motivated professionals interested in a contract-based opportunity for the  academic year. This full-time, on-site assignment welcomes both local and travel professionals, with a flexible option for a 4/1 hybrid schedule considered for select candidates.

Qualifications:
  • Active and current California school psychologist credential (required)
  • Demonstrated expertise working within K-12 school settings
  • Comprehensive understanding of student assessment, special education processes, and individualized education program (IEP) development
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Commitment to an on-site work environment; open to candidates who may require a limited hybrid schedule (4 days on-site, 1 day remote)
  • Previous travel or contract experience in an educational setting is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct student evaluations, provide psycho educational assessments, and interpret results for educational planning
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, student support teams, and multidisciplinary conferences
  • Deliver targeted interventions and counseling
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address students’ educational, social, and emotional needs
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
