Summer Camp Director – San Francisco, CA | Giants Baseball & Softball Camps
Giants Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring one Summer Camp Director to lead our Balboa Park location in San Francisco for two weeks this summer.
This is a hands‑on leadership position responsible for overseeing daily camp operations, supervising staff, ensuring camper safety, and delivering an exceptional experience for campers and families.
We are seeking an energetic, organized, and dependable leader who enjoys working with youth, managing teams, and creating a positive camp culture. This role is ideal for educators, coaches, camp directors, youth program leaders, recreation professionals, and individuals with experience leading staff and working with children.
Highlights- At least one year of leadership or staff management experience
- Experience working with children in educational, recreational, athletic, or camp settings
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Compensation: $1,400–$1,600 per week (based on experience)
- Additional weeks may be available for training earlier in the summer
- August 3–7, 2026
- August 10–14, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8–9 hours per day
About Giants Baseball & Softball CampsGiants Baseball & Softball Camps provides a fun, safe, and structured environment where campers ages 4–13 develop baseball and softball skills while building confidence, teamwork, accountability, and sportsmanship.
We provide the equipment, curriculum, training, and operational support. You provide the leadership, enthusiasm, and professionalism that help create a memorable experience for every camper and family.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all daily camp operations at our Balboa Park location
- Supervise and support a team of camp coaches and instructors
- Ensure a safe, organized, and engaging environment for campers
- Execute Giants Camps operational standards and curriculum
- Conduct daily staff meetings and communicate expectations clearly
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians
- Manage attendance, incident reporting, and daily logistics
- Address camper, parent, and staff concerns professionally
- Foster a positive camp culture built on accountability, enthusiasm, and teamwork
The ideal candidate is:
- An experienced leader and strong communicator
