Position DescriptionThe position of Business Department Instructor (part‑time) will provide class instruction for students in various business disciplines, business certificate areas, and general business curriculum.

1. Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with community college students with diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, sexual orientations, disabilities, and ethnic backgrounds (Required).
2. Earned Master’s Degree in Accountancy or Business Administration with Accounting concentration from an accredited institution; OR THE EQUIVALENT ;
3. Earned Bachelor’s Degree in Business with Accounting emphasis or Business Administration with Accounting emphasis or Economics with an Accounting emphasis from an accredited institution AND earned Master’s Degree in Business, Business Administration, Business Education, Economics, Taxation, or Finance from an accredited institution; OR THE EQUIVALENT ;
4. Earned Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Business Administration with Accountancy concentration from an accredited institution with a valid CPA license (must be valid in California); OR THE EQUIVALENT ;
5. Hold a fully‑satisfied LIFE California Community College Instructor Credential in Accounting (California credentials were no longer issued after July 1, 1990).
Marketing1. Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities working with diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, sexual orientation, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students (Required).
2. Earned Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Business Education, Marketing, Advertising, or Finance from an accredited institution; OR THE EQUIVALENT ;
3. Earned Bachelor’s Degree in any of the above from an accredited institution AND earned Master’s Degree in Economics, Accountancy, Taxation, or Law from an accredited institution; OR THE EQUIVALENT ;
4. Hold a fully‑satisfied LIFE California Community College Instructor Credential in Marketing and Distribution (California credentials were no longer issued after July 1, 1990).
