Bright Mind is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Education and Wellness Mentoring Volunteers. In this role, you will support our mission to provide quality educational resources and promote emotional and mental well‑being.

• Provide crucial support to our in‑the‑field projects as an on‑the‑street educator for homeless families and individuals.
• Mentor volunteers, team leads, and beneficiaries, offering social and emotional support to help them develop resilience and achieve personal goals.
• Mentor and train volunteers and chapter coordinators, helping them to improve their outreach and providing them with social and emotional support.
• Assist in planning and delivering educational and wellness programs and workshops for individuals of all ages.
• Facilitate interactive learning activities and engage students in hands‑on educational experiences.
• Help create and update educational and wellness materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, and presentations.
• Collaborate with the Educational Outreach team to ensure materials are culturally relevant, age‑appropriate and supportive of emotional well‑being.
• Participate in community events and outreach efforts to promote educational programs and recruit students.
• Engage with parents and community members to build support for educational initiatives.
• Assist with scheduling, communication with students, maintaining student and volunteer records, and other operational tasks.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with children and youth is preferred but not required.

Experience in developing educational or wellness materials is a plus.

Relevant coursework or training in education, child development, psychology, or a related field is welcome.
