We require our teachers to have a strong background in dance, great communication skills, and a commitment to our carefully crafted curriculum. Most of all, we want instructors who are invested in nurturing the big dreams of little dancers.

Compensation: $30.00 per hour

Responsibilities include leading 45-minute classes following Tutu School's carefully crafted Class Curriculum, taking attendance and answering basic questions about class membership and promotions, building rapport and communication with students' families and prospective clients, performing basic retail duties including product restocking and processing sales using a point-of-sale system, maintaining organization and cleanliness of the studio, lobby, retail display, and bathroom, and communicating effectively with management and administration.

Qualifications include experience in dancing with a ballet background, high school or equivalent, teaching experience, and availability on Wednesdays from 9:00-11:45 am.

Tutu School is a collection of quaint boutique ballet schools that provides a creative dance education experience for children from 6 months to 8 years old. It is a place where students are urged to fully exercise their imaginations as well as their bodies, and where we not only focus on teaching children age-appropriate motor skills and the fundamental principles of ballet but also expose them to the world of classical music and the enchanting stories of famous ballets.

Our founding principle is that every child should know what it feels like to dance. We exist to make space in children's lives for confident creativity and the pure joy that comes from finding oneself in music and movement.
