As a 1st-grade teacher, you’ll create a classroom where students feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn each day. You’ll work closely with fellow teachers, school leadership, and families to help students grow academically and socially.

In this role, you will:

Plan and teach engaging lessons aligned with the Stratford curriculum.

Create a positive, organized classroom environment that supports student learning and independence.

Assess student progress and communicate regularly with families.

Collaborate with grade-level teammates and school leadership to support student success.

Participate in school events, professional development, and the broader campus community.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Experience teaching in a lower elementary classroom.

A warm, dependable, and student-centered approach to teaching.

Why Stratford?

Our campuses are known for their supportive teams, engaged families, and students who are eager to learn. Teachers here work closely together, share ideas openly, and are encouraged to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact in the classroom every day.
