• Noon Monitors transport students from one destination to the next safely on school grounds
• Supervise students at playtime and maintain a harmonious atmosphere on the playground
• Organize group games and activities
• Supervise lunch recesses in the cafeteria and in the school yard
• Assist students in wellness rooms
• Assist in restorative conversations and respond to students in crisis
• Walk around the yards and take precautionary steps to help children resolve conflicts using intervention strategies, such as benching
• Send students to the office for medical attention or in serious discipline situations
• Perform other job duties as requested by site administration

• The strongest candidates will have:
• Knowledge of San Francisco’s public schools/urban public schools and a passion for SFUSD’s commitment to instructional leadership
• Strong analytics and systems thinking to interpret data and build infrastructure
• Ability to work effectively across multiple functions in a complex organization
• Proven record of planning, organizing, and using resources to achieve goals

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and GSuite

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior experience working with children/students under supervision of teachers or school staff
