Mission Readiness Service Trainer
As a Mission Readiness Service Trainer, your role will be to teach, demonstrate, and assess day-to-day tasks for both new and established learners on the Mission Readiness Service team. This hands-on role involves working with new and fully trained operators, Training Supervisors, Project Managers, and functional managers to ensure learners are proficiently performing standardized operating procedures. Occasional 'filling in' for operators may be necessary, but this role will not be expected to take part in ongoing Service or R&D missions.
The role reports to the Training Project Manager for Mission Control.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
- At least 3 months as a fully trained individual on the Mission Readiness team
- 1-3 years of experience in the AV space
- Knowledge of Mission Readiness procedures and responsibilities
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
- Proven ability to problem solve and improve operational efficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues to support trainees
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Flexible schedule to accommodate training events
- Willing to travel to different locations for training support up to 25% of their time
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Must pass a background check, MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check, and drug screen
- Must comply with the Substance Abuse Policy
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Preferred Skills &
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Google Workspace collaboration tools such as Google Slides, Sheets, Docs, and Forms
- Experience in facilitation of classroom sessions and/or on-the-job training
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated training support to new and experienced operators through classroom facilitation, demonstration, coaching, and feedback on day-to-day operating procedures
- Review daily performance feedback and address any training deficiencies escalated by on-the-job Mentors
- Grade hands-on assessments, including on-the-ground and simulated sessions, and provide feedback to Training Supervisor and team stakeholders
- Conduct formal audits of operator performance for both new and experienced operators
- Assist with training material updates as needed and review new training material
- Work with Training Supervisors to identify areas of confusion or discrepancy in the training curriculum
- Fulfill an 8-hour minimum Service or Service Associate requirement per month to keep knowledge and performance of SOPs proficient
