Instructional Designer

Our client, a leader in autonomous mobility, is seeking an Instructional Designer to join their team. As an Instructional Designer, you will be part of the BaseOPS technical training team supporting various technical training initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, collaboration, and a passion for developing engaging learning experiences that empower teams and enhance organizational performance.

Pay Range: $60-$65/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Design educational content adhering to instructional design principles, ensuring learning objectives align with business goals.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to co-create dynamic curricula for live classrooms, workshops, and e-learning experiences, utilizing AGILE methodologies for continuous improvement and flexibility.
• Develop interactive and immersive online learning experiences using advanced eLearning authoring tools, focusing on content structure, clarity, and effective writing.
• Regularly assess training solutions for quality, scalability, and impact on learner behavior and business objectives, implementing iterative improvements to drive measurable outcomes.
• Create content that adheres to brand guidelines and style guides, working with evolving templates and tools to streamline production and reduce development times while maintaining quality.

What's Needed?

• 6-8 years of instructional design experience, with a focus on blended learning, OLT, ILT, and vILT. Automotive / EV / Collision industry experience is preferred but not required.
• 2+ years of experience in the automotive industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong conceptual design skills with the ability to visualize and articulate instructional flows and learner experiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with frequent change and limited oversight.
• Experience creating learning evaluation plans and working knowledge of eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline), Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.
