Role DescriptionThe Assistant Director of Admissions is a full-time, on-site role located in San Francisco, CA, responsible for supporting all aspects of the 9–12 admissions process. This position manages prospective family outreach, guides applicants through the admissions cycle, and participates in student recruiting activities, including school tours, open houses, and community events. The role includes reviewing applications, coordinating interviews and assessments, collaborating with academic and administrative teams, and assisting with enrollment decisions and onboarding.
The Assistant Director of Admissions helps maintain accurate admissions and enrollment data, supports communication with families, and contributes to strategic enrollment initiatives aligned with the school’s mission and values.
- Demonstrated skills in Enrollment Management and Student Recruiting to support 9-12 admissions and enrollment goals.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospective families, students, and community partners.
- Experience or familiarity with Student Financial Aid processes to help guide families through tuition assistance options.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff, with strong organizational, time management, and data tracking skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, business, or a related field; prior admissions or school-based experience is preferred.
- Comfort with admissions software, CRM or database tools, and proficiency with standard office productivity applications.
