The Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC) provides education, leadership development, behavioral health, intervention, street outreach, and workforce development services to San Francisco youth and their families. CYC envisions empowering young people to reach their highest potential as individuals and to develop a positive self/cultural identity. Salary: $30 - $34 per hour

Community Youth Center (CYC) is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Job Readiness for English Language Learners (JRELL) and Transition Opportunities and Programs for Success (TOPS) programs. Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Program Coordinator will provide workforce development, case management, college and career readiness, and youth development services to English Language Learners and transitional-aged youth (ages 14–24).
The coordinator will help participants achieve their educational, employment, and personal goals through workshops, individualized support, employer engagement, and community partnerships.
- Coordinate and implement JRELL and TOPS program activities in accordance with program goals and funder requirements.
- Recruit and enroll eligible youth and conduct participant assessments to develop individualized service plans.
- Provide case management, supportive services, referrals, and ongoing coaching.
- Develop and facilitate workshops on job readiness, career exploration, financial literacy, workplace skills, and college readiness.
- Provide college and corporate tours to expose high school and TAY youth to post-secondary education and career pathways.
- Assist participants with internships, employment, job placement, college planning, and career pathway exploration.
- Build and maintain partnerships with employers, colleges, and community organizations to expand opportunities for youth.
- Maintain an up-to-date list of transferable college credits and employment opportunities aligned with participant goals.
- Recruit internship worksites and support employer and worksite partners.
- Coordinate career exploration activities, college visits, community service projects, and youth leadership opportunities.
- Maintain accurate participant records, data entry, documentation, and required reports.
- Monitor participant progress and program outcomes to ensure contract compliance.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, outreach events, and agency-wide activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or a minimum of two (2) years of experience in workforce development, youth development, case management, or a related field.
- Bilingual in English and Ca
ntonese and/or Mandarin . - Experience facilitating workshops and providing workforce, college, or career readiness services for high school and transitional-aged youth (TAY).
- Experience providing case management, conducting participant assessments, and developing individualized service plans for youth and young adults.
- Ability to work effectively with ethnically diverse, low-income youth and English Language Learners while supporting their academic, career, and social-emotional development
- Experience working with San Francisco's diverse communities, community-based organizations, educational institutions, employers, and private sector partners.
- Knowledge of job readiness, job search, job coaching, career exploration, and workforce development practices.
- Strong organizational, facilitation, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and other technology platforms.
