Product Manager, Digital Optimization & Experimentation
Happy Head is the leader in dermatologist-prescribed hair medicine. As the leading telemedicine platform focused exclusively on hair growth, we provide powerful, personalized medical treatment. Our medicines are prescribed and our patients are cared for only by board-certified dermatologists - the only medical profession with hair and scalp training.
About the RoleWe're looking for an ecommerce-savvy Product Manager, Digital Optimization & Experimentation to drive ecommerce optimization and accelerate our structured, high-velocity experimentation program across Happy Head's acquisition funnels, landing pages, product pages and checkout experience. Reporting to the CGO and working closely with our CEO, this role works across Acquisition, Creative Lifecycle/CRM, Analytics, and Engineering to identify customer friction, build a prioritized testing roadmap, and drive individual experiments from idea through launch and measurement.
This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role for someone who combines strong product thinking, analytical rigor and excellent project management - comfortable partnering with performance marketing, creative and technical teams, navigating dependencies, and keeping cross-functional work moving. You'll work as a peer to our existing Product Manager and our Director of Lifecycle/CRM, with your focus centered on digital conversion and optimization.
and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a prioritized testing roadmap across landing pages, consultation funnels, product pages and checkout, weighing customer impact, business value, effort and confidence.
- Diagnose where the customer journey is breaking down and translate Growth and paid-media insights into clear digital-product initiatives and experiments.
- Develop test hypotheses, requirements, success metrics and decision criteria before launch; lead each experiment from planning through execution, analysis and readout.
- Increase testing velocity while maintaining a strong customer experience and reliable measurement, including identifying lower-complexity experiments that can launch with limited engineering support.
- Support digital experiences for new Rx and OTC product launches - landing pages, funnels, product pages, checkout and measurement.
- Support cross-sell, upsell and add-on experiences that increase customer value and diversify customer baskets.
- Recommend tools, workflows and practical AI applications that improve testing, analysis and execution speed.
- Surface risks and tradeoffs early and keep stakeholders aligned on priorities and progress.
What Success Looks Like In the first six months, this person will:
- Establish a consistent testing cadence across key parts of the digital customer journey.
- Increase the number and quality of experiments launched.
- Deliver tests that produce measurable improvements in conversion rate, average order value, revenue per visitor or acquisition efficiency.
- Build a clear record of testing results and learnings that informs future priorities.
- Reduce delays caused by unclear requirements, ownership or cross-functional dependencies.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in product management, growth product, digital optimization, ecommerce or a related field.
- Demonstrated success working within structured experimentation programs that improved conversion, average order value, revenue or acquisition efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data and customer behavior into clear priorities.
- Experience working with Growth or Performance Marketing teams and understanding how paid-media traffic connects to landing-page and checkout performance.
- Strong project and program-management skills, with a track record of coordinating multiple teams and moving work through launch.
- Ability to write clear requirements, briefs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience partnering effectively with Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Creative, Brand and CRM teams.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present results, risks and recommendations clearly.
- Strong ownership, judgment and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with competing priorities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in telehealth, healthcare, wellness, subscription commerce or a direct-to-consumer business.
- Familiarity with Shopify, Webflow, Word Press or comparable ecommerce and content-management platforms.
- Experience with experimentation and analytics tools such as Amplitude and Looker.
- Familiarity with checkout, subscription and transactional add-on experiences.
- Practical use of AI tools in product discovery, experimentation, analysis or execution.
- Experience helping build or improve a product or experimentation process.
