As the 0993 Director, Position Control
, under general direction from the Deputy Superintendent of Business Services, you will ensure the efficient and strategic management of the district’s staffing allocation, budget alignment, and compliance with organizational policies. In this role, you will work across Business Services, Human Resources and other departments to ensure effective and accurate use of district funds in alignment with student needs.

As the 0993 Director, Position Control
, you will be responsible for:
- Position Management & Staffing Allocation
- Maintains and manages the district’s position control system, ensuring accurate records of all full-time equivalent (FTE) positions, including new positions, reclassifications, transfers, and eliminations
- Develops and maintains staffing allocation models that are aligned with district-wide staffing guidelines, programmatic needs, and budget constraints
- Provides oversight and coordination of district-wide staffing requests and approvals
- Determines and monitors administrator-to-teacher ratios to ensure compliance with district guidelines and California Education Code provisions
- Implements staffing ratio models that align with regulatory mandates, including the number of FTE administrators per student population, ensuring optimal staffing efficiency
