Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma (AA or BA degrees in Early Childhood Education are preferred, but not required)
• A CTC Child Development Teacher level permit or higher (Site Supervisor is preferred but not required)
• Negative TB test administered within 60 days of hire
• Clearance of fingerprint background check
• Work at least 15 days during the first semester, or a minimum of 30 days by the end of the school year

Essential Duties

Substitute teachers are an essential part of our district and essential for our students' continued learning! Via our substitute scheduling system, Red Rover, substitute teachers cover teacher absences and vacancies in the classroom and are responsible for following lesson plans to maintain and further student learning.

Under the direction of a site administrator, site principal or other appropriate administrator, plan, implement, monitor and assess a preschool classroom instructional program:
