Under supervision of administrator, employee to provide specialized physical health care procedures to Special Education and Section 504 eligible students; to maintain records and documents related to the provision of physical health care procedures. Each S10F will be provided defense and indemnification by SFUSD for any and all civil/criminal liability that could arise in connection with the specialized health care procedure performed by the S10F.

Specialized physical health care procedures will be performed under the direct or indirect supervision of a credentialed school district nurse, after completion of a training module designed within the parameters of the California School Nurse Organization’s Green Book:
Guidelines for Specialized Physical Healthcare Services in School Settings, 2nd Edition, 2011. Physical health care procedures can only be executed after demonstrating competency performing the procedures. A skill-based demonstration of competency will be required yearly.
