Job Title:
Designer II
As a Designer II, you will contribute to projects through all phases of design and construction while working under the guidance of more senior staff. Your role will involve preparing design studies, presentations, and construction documents, as well as developing design and technical solutions for assigned portions of a project. You will support permitting and construction administration activities, demonstrating increasing technical proficiency, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
You will be part of a collaborative studio environment committed to design excellence.
Contribute to projects through all phases of design and construction under the guidance of more senior staff.
Prepare design studies, presentations, and construction documents.
Develop design and technical solutions for assigned portions of a project.
Support permitting and construction administration activities.
Demonstrate increasing technical proficiency, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
At least two to five years of project designer experience within a small to medium-sized firm/studio environment.
At least two years of experience with assisting in highly technical project types such as industrial, civic, commercial, administration, operations, laboratory, maintenance, facilities, public works, or transportation facilities.
Non-licensed architectural status with experience with California building codes. Oregon and/or Washington state experience is also desirable.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited program.
Proficiency in Revit and Sketch Up
The position requires the ability to work in person from Tuesday to Thursday at the San Francisco office. A hybrid schedule is currently offered, subject to team needs. The work environment is collaborative, fostering a culture of design excellence, with opportunities to engage in a variety of project types.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Francisco, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $73000.00 - $83000.00/hr.
