Location: U.S. Travel (Initial projects likely in California)

A leading EPC organization in the renewable energy sector is seeking a Senior Solar Commissioning Superintendent (Electrical) to join their high‑performing Solar Operations team. This position focuses on utility‑scale solar commissioning and requires a strong field leader who can drive performance, uphold safety standards, and lead teams through complex electrical scopes on large‑scale projects.
What We’re Looking For- Utility‑scale solar commissioning experience (5‑10+ years preferred)
- Proven background as a Superintendent or Site Leader on large electrical construction projects
- Strong leadership skills with a team‑first mindset and high standards
- Experience managing self‑perform crews and subcontractors
- Solid tenure demonstrating reliability and career progression
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, field‑based environments
- Lead electrical commissioning activities across utility‑scale solar projects
- Oversee installation, testing, and energization of electrical systems (HV/MV preferred)
- Coordinate daily site operations and ensure alignment with project schedules
- Manage subcontractors and field crews to ensure productivity and quality execution
- Review drawings, specifications, and commissioning plans
- Support testing and validation of electrical systems and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a strong safety culture
- Mentor field personnel and support team development
- Rotation schedule: 3 weeks on / 5 days off
- Projects located across the U.S.
- Initial assignment likely in California
