  • Lead utility, transmission, generation, and power-delivery work streams from development through interconnection, construction, energization, service commencement, and operational readiness.
  • Manage relationships, deliverables, and open issues across utilities, transmission providers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain path-to-power schedules, energization milestones, budgets, risk registers, action logs, and critical-path dependencies across multiple projects.
  • Support utility interconnection, substation, transmission, distribution, equipment procurement, commissioning, and service-readiness activities.
  • Manage the development, negotiation, execution, and administration of utility, energy, and infrastructure agreements.
  • Track and administer agreement obligations, including deliverables, milestone payments, collateral, notices, reporting requirements, deadlines, approvals, and internal ownership.
  • Coordinate technical, legal, commercial, finance, procurement, construction, and operations teams to maintain alignment, resolve issues, and elevate risks.
  • Prepare leadership and customer-facing updates on power delivery status, energization risks, cost impacts, utility requirements, and required decisions.
  • Support portfolio and site‑specific energy strategies involving utility service, market supply, onsite generation, storage, and other power solutions.
  • Manage load forecasting, tariff and rate analysis, energy budgeting, market assessments, commercial evaluations, and scenario‑based decision support.
  • Lead supplier solicitations, bid evaluations, and commercial comparisons for power supply, energy market services, and related support.
  • Coordinate implementation of energy procurement and risk‑management programs, including contract administration, collateral tracking, reporting, and internal handoffs.
  • Develop metering, settlement, billing, and energy reporting processes with internal teams and external partners.
  • Monitor utility, ISO/RTO, regulatory, tariff, policy, and large‑load requirements affecting project delivery, customer commitments, operating costs, or procurement optionality.
  • Prepare forecasts, performance reporting, executive summaries, approval materials, and decision‑support packages.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Construction Management, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 6–10+ years of experience managing utility, energy, power infrastructure, industrial, mission-critical, large-load, or data center programs.
  • Working knowledge of electric transmission and distribution systems, utility interconnection processes, substations, generation, metering, tariffs, rate structures, utility agreements, and large-load service requirements.
  • Experience coordinating utility providers, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, finance, engineering, construction, operations, customers, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting contract administration, obligation tracking, schedule management, budgeting, risk tracking, procurement coordination, stakeholder reporting, and executive decision support.
  • Ability to interpret technical, commercial, legal, regulatory, and financial inputs and translate them into clear action plans, recommendations, and communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing concise updates, issue summaries, meeting materials, and leadership-facing recommendations.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple active work streams in a fast-paced development and delivery environment.
