Director of Technology

A market leader in advanced materials is seeking a Director of Technology to drive innovation and product development across a portfolio serving demanding, high-performance applications. This role will own the technology roadmap, guide new materials development, and partner closely with operations and commercial teams to support customer programs from concept through production.

• Lead technology and product development strategy
• Manage two direct reports in R and D and applications
• Report to the CTO and collaborate cross-functionally across the business
• Advance new material formulations and processes with a focus on elastomers and adhesives
• Support customer engagements with hands-on technical problem solving
• Monitor emerging technologies, markets, and competitive trends
• Drive continuous improvement in product performance, quality, and reliability

• 10 plus years experience with a Master’s or 20 plus years experience with a Bachelor’s in materials science chemistry chemical engineering mechanical engineering or a related discipline
• Strong background in elastomeric materials and adhesive systems
• Demonstrated leadership in technical organizations and managing small teams
• Ability to translate customer needs into development priorities and deliver results
• Confident communicator capable of influencing at all levels
