They are seeking a Principal Power IC Chip Lead to spearhead the development of our next generation of products.
In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and optimizing advanced power delivery systems from concept to production working alongside all departments within the organization. - Lead project: own top-level design and verification, partition blocks. Drive design flow to keep project on schedule and error free
- Technical:
Design IP blocks, communicate knowledge to rest of the team - Supervise top level IC floorplan and layout development
- IC evaluation:
Including initial bring-up, detailed bench characterization, timely debug and design fix - Test development/qualification plan and support to bring the product to mass production
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with several years’ experience in Power IC design
- Experience in chip/project lead (2+ projects) with 5+ team members
- Demonstrated track record in successfully leading analog power IC design projects from initial concept into mass production working with customer’s requirement
- Switching converters design experience including power stage and controller architecture
- Ability to do transistor circuit design in one or more of the following areas: bandgap, precision voltage and current references, variable gain amplifiers, continuous time filters, PLLs (analog, hybrid and digital), ADCs (Flash, SAR, sigma-delta), voltage regulators, temperature sensors, I/O blocks, DAC, sense and protection circuits
- Strong knowledge in device physics and deep sub-micron processes
- Proficiency in Cadence design and verification tools
- Strong sense of ownership/accountability
