As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company. You’ll be comfortable explaining technical tradeoffs to engineers and presenting analyses and recommendations to executives.
Responsibilities- Identify gaps and opportunities for scaling and operationalizing energy software solutions.
- Develop tools and processes that support energy solution commercialization.
- Manage programs including scoping, resourcing, stakeholder communication, and execution with various Google groups in collaboration with external vendors.
- Provide expertise and support on specific projects and commercial negotiations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in software product management or sales engineering.
- Experience working in energy markets, with power utilities, or with distributed energy resources.
- Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience managing cross‑functional or cross‑team projects.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $132,000–$189,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Individual pay is determined by location and additional factors such as experience and relevant training.
