Research Engineer

We’re hiring a Research Engineer at an early‑stage AI company building and deploying machine learning systems on large datasets used by businesses. You’ll help design and improve learning systems that work over large, complex data and ship measurable performance gains into production.

Applied research. High ownership. A lean, highly technical team.

• Implement and iterate on ML research ideas to solve real product problems.
• Design experiments and evaluations that clearly demonstrate model improvements.
• Develop learning approaches for business data, including structured formats.
• Improve models across quality, efficiency, cost, and latency.
• Work on training and inference performance in close collaboration with infra engineers.
• Ship model improvements into customer‑facing, production systems.

• Strong fundamentals in ML and model development.
• Deep, hands‑on experience with a modern deep learning framework (e.g. PyTorch or JAX).
• Experience working with real‑world business data, including structured or tabular data.
• Proven track record of shipping model improvements into production systems.
• Comfortable in a fast‑moving, research‑driven environment.
