Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager
STV is seeking a Senior Project Manager‑Education for our California PM/CM Group, Education and Public Works Sectors.
Key ResponsibilitiesOrganize cross‑functional activities and coordinate project work efforts to complete project deliverables, schedule, and budget. Manage and direct proposal development, project initiation, execution/control, and closeout for construction projects, including project budgets, change requests, and invoicing. Participate in project‑specific marketing, proposal preparation, and presentations for successful project selection. Plan the complete project execution and develop the project manual. Work with Senior Managers to schedule and monitor manpower requirements against project budget and spending performance;
manage activities related to scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, coordination, manpower, discipline, resources, procurement, and risk to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal responsibility.
- Minimum 15 years of experience with knowledge of K‑12, higher education, and public works construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Senior project management experience from initiation through preconstruction, procurement, construction, and closeout.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with BIM, Primavera P6, Procore, or E‑Builder (plus). LEED, DBIA, PMP, CCM, RA, PE (preferable but not required).
- Formal training in project management preferred.
- Strong understanding of project contract terms, conditions, and scope of work.
