Systems Engineer, Robotics
Zadar Labs builds next-generation millimeter-wave radar sensing and perception systems for robotics, industrial automation, automotive, and smart infrastructure. Our platform delivers high-resolution, all-weather perception for physical AI systems operating in environments where traditional sensors fall short.
We work directly with customers deploying real systems in vehicles, robotics platforms, industrial sites, ports, logistics hubs, and other complex operating environments. Our technology ships into production workflows and is evaluated where performance matters immediately.
About the RoleWe are seeking a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to lead customer-facing deployments of Zadar radar systems globally.
No prior radar experience is required. You will receive hands‑on training and quickly develop expertise in frontier millimeter‑wave imaging radar technology.
This is a high‑ownership role at the intersection of hardware, software, and real-world deployment. You will work directly with customers to define solutions, deploy systems onsite, and ensure strong performance under real operating conditions.
You should be comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, moving quickly, and taking responsibility for making systems work in the field.
This full-time role is based onsite in Campbell, California (5 days/week) and includes frequent international travel supporting customer deployments.
