Deployment Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Deployment Engineer to support the delivery and implementation of advanced automation solutions for industrial environments. This role focuses on deploying systems that combine software, machine learning, and robotics to improve operational efficiency in manufacturing and warehouse settings.

The ideal candidate will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful system integration, performance, and adoption. This position involves hands‑on technical work, problem‑solving, and coordination across multiple disciplines including hardware, software, and controls.

Responsibilities
  • Support on‑site deployment activities and act as a technical representative during implementation through production readiness
  • Perform commissioning of hardware, software, controls, and networked systems
  • Coordinate project tasks, timelines, and resources while serving as a point of contact between customers and internal teams
  • Analyze customer operations and workflows to ensure systems integrate effectively into existing processes
  • Identify, document, and troubleshoot technical issues during deployment and elevate as needed
  • Verify system performance prior to acceptance testing and customer handoff
  • Provide customer training and support during system rollout
  • Perform ongoing maintenance, updates, and system improvements
  • Travel frequently to customer sites (up to 75–100%)
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (e.g., Industrial, Systems, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Supply Chain)
  • Experience working with industrial robotic systems or automation equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and software systems
  • Familiarity with Linux‑based environments
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast‑paced environments
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively
  • Experience working in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in industrial automation, robotics integration, or system design
  • Familiarity with CAD tools or simulation software for system layout and testing
  • Exposure to PLC programming and industrial control systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, etc.)
  • Programming experience in languages such as Python or similar
  • Understanding of network protocols and system integration concepts
  • Experience creating technical documentation
