This is a mid‑level Project Engineer position focused on site civil design and project delivery. You will play a key role in executing technically complex projects while beginning to take on coordination, mentorship, and client‑facing responsibilities. This role is best suited for someone who wants to move beyond pure production and step into a more design‑ and impact‑oriented engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead site civil design, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports
- Develop and manage plan sets and provide direction and redlines to junior staff
- Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and clients
- Support project delivery, including scope, schedule, and quality management
- Contribute to sustainable design approaches tied to water, energy, and site systems
- 5+ years of experience in civil or site development engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Strong experience in grading and drainage design, utility layout and sizing, earthwork calculations, plan set production and documentation
- Experience reviewing and redlining design work Ability to work across multiple base files, coordinate systems, and datasets
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with sound technical judgment
- Professional Engineer (PE) or on track to obtain
- Experience with sustainability‑focused design or certifications (LEED or similar)
- Familiarity with GIS or visualization tools (Adobe Suite, etc.)
- Experience coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Interest in design‑forward or urban infrastructure projects
