  • Contribute to benchmarking efforts by applying internal and external cost data to support cost validation and reporting.
  • Support value engineering exercises by developing cost comparisons and evaluating design alternatives.
  • Assist with feasibility studies and preparation of procurement and tender documentation.
  • Support procurement activities including bid list development, bid evaluations, bid summaries, and contract documentation.
  • Perform cost checks, valuations, and support earned‑value reviews on large or complex projects.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, design teams, and internal project teams to support accurate cost delivery.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of internal estimating tools, templates, and cost data.
  • Prepare clear and well‑structured estimating deliverables and supporting documentation suitable for client review.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role and must be adhered to where applicable.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience preparing CSA estimates on large‑scale construction projects.
  • Solid experience in Civil, Structural, and Architectural (Core & Shell) estimating, with working knowledge of related engineering and design disciplines.
  • Prior exposure to mission‑critical environments, such as data centers, high‑tech manufacturing, industrial, or large commercial construction projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in quantity takeoffs, pricing, and cost modeling.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support client‑facing estimate discussions.
  • Experience using CostX for 2D/3D takeoff and estimate development is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar tools is beneficial.
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced project environment.
  • Working knowledge of construction procurement methodologies and contract structures.
  • Interest in professional development within cost management and estimating on complex capital programs.
