We're seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support the design and analysis of structural systems for mechanical, HVAC, and piping installations on commercial and industrial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design equipment supports, anchorage systems, seismic restraints, and supplemental structural steel
- Perform structural analysis and prepare calculations and construction documents
- Evaluate existing structures for retrofits, rooftop equipment, and equipment replacements
- Coordinate with project management, construction, BIM/VDC, and engineering teams
- Provide field support and help resolve structural issues during construction
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- PE license preferred
- 8+ years of structural engineering experience supporting building systems, mechanical equipment, or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of structural design, building codes, and seismic requirements
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or 3D modeling software
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
Commercial, healthcare, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects involving HVAC, piping, and equipment support systems.
