Senior Technical Applications Engineer - Bay Area, CA

• Lead technical support for customers by working closely with our global sales and field-deployed global technical service teams.
• Be a trusted technical expert to our customers and establish and maintain positive relationships with key technical contacts and decision makers at our customers.
• Own and drive the on-time completion of customer activities, including leading technical calls with customers, managing customer samples, and experimental support for the customer opportunities they own.
• Understand and implement coating application approaches on a variety of customer samples in customers’ production lines with our field-deployed technical team.
• Communicate technical advances internally with other members of the company and be able to engage customers on the details of products.
• Establish relationships with vendors and contract manufacturers to expand capabilities and address customer needs.
• Frequent travel to visit customers on site in the Bay area is expected, with additional international and domestic business travel (15-20%) expected.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience supporting customers in the electronics industry is strongly preferred.
• Experience with the application of coatings and manufacturing processes is preferred.
