Job Description & How to Apply Below

The job posting you are reading right now will change your life, whether you apply or not.

Years from now, you may look back on this as the moment you chose to help build the defining product of the future, or as the opportunity you will always regret letting pass.

We’re hiring a world-class hardware engineer to build the future of wearable BCI computers in the post-smartphone world.

The next major computing platform will not live on a desk, in your pocket or behind a screen. It will be worn, always available and connected far more directly to human perception, intention and thought.

We believe this shift will be as important as the arrival of the personal computer or the internet.

We are already building it.

We’re looking for an exceptional hardware engineer to take a central role in creating an entirely new category of device from first principles.

You will own problems across:

  • Complete wearable hardware and system architecture
  • Custom PCBs, rigid-flex and high-density electronics
  • Embedded compute, cameras, sensors, audio and connectivity
  • EEG and brain‑computer interface hardware
  • Power systems, battery architecture and thermal management
  • Miniaturization, comfort and industrial design integration
  • Hardware bring-up, debugging, testing and rapid iteration
  • Manufacturing, suppliers and production partners in Shenzhen

This is not a narrow engineering role.

You should be obsessed with building hardware that has never existed before.

We are looking for one of the best engineers in the world: deeply technical, relentlessly hands‑on, exceptionally fast, ambitious and unwilling to accept that a difficult engineering problem is impossible.

Experience in wearables, consumer electronics, AR/VR, embedded Linux or Android, camera systems, low-power systems, medical devices, neural interfaces or BCI is highly relevant.

But your mindset matters more than whether your previous job title perfectly matches this one.

The role will involve significant hands‑on work in Shenzhen, San Francisco and wherever the hardest problems need to be solved.

This is a rare opportunity to help define what comes after the smartphone and to build a product that could fundamentally change the relationship between humans and computers.

If you believe you are the person who should build it, apply.
