I am currently partnering with an industry-defining human performance technology company for a Prototype Test Specialist. Below are the details:
3-6 Month Contract, chance of extension or conversion
Day to Day:- Hands-on Building: Assemble and test complex electromechanical systems for a brand-new product (integrating sensors, pumps, and electronics).
- Failure Analysis: Run bench tests to reproduce and characterize failure cases, confirming root causes and validating your corrective actions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to analyze sensor data and field feedback.
- Deployment: Collaborate directly with the product team to deploy early-stage systems to real-world users.
- Engineering Background: BS (or expected BS) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. MS is highly preferred.
- Hardware Troubleshooting: Real experience using diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, command-line utilities) to debug hardware-firmware systems.
- Prototyping
Skills:
Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical prototyping skills. - Location: Must be able to work on-site 5 days a week at their San Francisco office.
- Availability: Ready to start ASAP.
