Role Overview
This position leads plumbing engineering design on healthcare and building projects, managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and fostering client relationships. The role involves overseeing responsible charge, guiding staff development, and participating in project pursuits and meetings.
Key Responsibilities- Leading plumbing system design, including water, drainage, gas, and fire suppression systems in healthcare settings.
- Managing project delivery to meet quality and financial goals.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Mentoring team members and promoting a culture of innovation and inclusiveness.
- Participating in proposals, local professional associations, and project meetings.
- Bachelor's in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
- 12+ years of experience in building plumbing design.
- Professional US Engineering License or equivalent.
- Experience leading project teams on large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in BIM/CAD software like Revit MEP or AutoCAD MEP.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize, organize in a dynamic environment, and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
