JOB OVERVIEW

The Audio Tech Team brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software, and content. We operate on aggressive, fixed timelines to ship products  products define new categories that advance Meta's mission to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. We seek an Audio Lab Assistant to join our Audio Experience Team.

In this role, you will maintain the cleanliness of the audio labs, manage all incoming and outgoing equipment, and coordinate product and prototype delivery. You will support the Lab Technicians with their day-to-day testing by locating equipment and testing tools. You will work collaboratively across software, hardware, and user experience teams to help deliver prototypes and setup demos. As part of a large audio community across Meta, your inventory and equipment tracking will ensure smooth operation within the lab.

This creates a scalable ecosystem that supports company growth. The goal within the labs is to enable game-changing innovation by providing both an automated environment that minimizes repetitive testing and setup inefficiencies, and a safe environment for experimenting

Responsibilities:
  • Track all equipment checked out to team members
  • Manage incoming orders and work with purchasing team to deliver to appropriate team members
  • Track tools and consumables within lab and reorder items to keep the lab stocked
  • Manage equipment that needs to be shipped to offsite team members
  • Manage equipment calibration and schedule with vendor per contracts
  • Track competitive benchmarking units to remove from lab once testing, demos, or projects are complete
  • Help track and deliver prototype samples needed for testing
  • Work with our Enterprise team to create a new equipment tracking tool.
  • General lab cleanliness and organization
  • Manage proper removal of our prototype samples. Disposal of Intellectual Property (IP) samples (Requires special handling)
  • Work with Vendors to complete paperwork for onsite visits and escort once on campus
  • Attention to detail and strong organization skills
  • Microsoft Office and Google Docs

The annual salary range for this role is $100,000 – $130,000

The Annual Salary depends upon various job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand. This range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
