We are looking for PCB design specialists to help train AI systems on professional PCB workflows. You will document how you work from schematic to manufacturing outputs, and validate PCB designs and circuit simulations.

• Take a design from schematic capture through PCB layout to manufacturing outputs in your tool.
• Run design-rule checks, verification and troubleshooting for performance and manufacturability.
• Write up design strategy, electrical reasoning and layout decisions.
• Validate PCB designs and circuit simulations for correctness and clarity.
• Review AI-generated PCB advice and designs for mistakes.
• Follow project guidelines, take part in calibration and review sessions, and incorporate feedback to keep quality consistent.

• Expert-level, hands-on experience with a PCB tool (for example Altium Designer, KiCad, Design Spark PCB or LibrePCB).
• Background as an electronics, hardware or PCB layout engineer.
• Experience with multi-layer boards and manufacturing packages (BOM, Gerber).
• Clear written English.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

• High-speed digital or power-electronics design.
• Published tutorials or open-source hardware designs.
• Experience mentoring others on EDA tools.

• Engagement and payment are subject to successful verification and to applicable sanctions, export-control, tax and employment laws.
• The contractor agreement will set out ownership and licence terms for the work you deliver (to be confirmed by Rex Legal).

Up to USD $125 per hour, adjusted by country of residence.
