St. Francis Yacht Club is one of the premier yacht clubs in the world, home to 3,200 esteemed and diverse members, all of whom share a passion for yachting. Located on the shore of the San Francisco Bay, the City Clubhouse features three unique dining spaces, numerous elegant event spaces and athletic facilities for junior sailors and adults alike. The Club's regatta schedule is one of the most competitive in the world, playing host to 140+ days of racing, including several Grade 1 International regattas.

Founded in 1927, St. Francis Yacht Club is steeped in over 90 years of yachting traditions. From the beginning, St. Francis Yacht Club’s membership has included many of the Bay Area’s most prominent citizens and greatest sailors. The Club’s annual regatta schedule is one of the most active in the world. Both physically beautiful and naturally demanding, the Bay provides a racer with the ultimate in wind, current and weather conditions for truly competitive, exciting sailing.

Adjacent to the Marina District, the clubhouse provides a boating and social venue for members and their guests, featuring deep-water guest docks, outstanding dining amenities and incredible vistas of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay. The Club boasts a professional staff, excellent dining rooms, inviting bars and spectacular private party facilities, not to mention extensive experience in accommodating regattas of all kinds and sizes.

In addition to the city-based clubhouse, Tinsley Island is our private slice of paradise, located 60 miles up the Delta from St. Francis Yacht Club. This 40-acre oasis is accessed by a Club-owned launch or private boat and offers a year-round getaway for our members, featuring dockage and houseboats, on-island lodging and kitchen facilities, a swimming pool, small boat fleet for member use and a variety of other diversions in a rustic, relaxing setting.

The Overnight Watch/Security team member is responsible for the security of the club and surrounding club property during closed hours. Start time is 10:00p.m.

- 11:30p.m. (parttime position). End time is at 7:30 am or 8 am.

• Answer and route telephone calls in a courteous and pleasant manner.
• Take telephone messages.
• Greet members and guests; screen people entering the Club.
• Provide schedule and club information to members and guests.
• Accept reservations for restaurants and club functions.
  
  Issue guest cards and maintain guest logs.
• Operate and observe Fire and Security alarms.
• Function as club communication hub, disseminating information to appropriate personnel and locations.
• Post appropriate flags as Club Officers enter and leave the Club.
• Maintain proper appearance of reception area.
• Update announcement boards.
  
  Update and maintain lost and found and other equipment check out.

• Keep unauthorized personnel away from the property to reduce the risks of theft, vandalism and assault.
• Reduce the threat of damage to property due to fire, equipment failure, flooding and other emergencies.
• Secure the premises, making sure exit doors and windows are locked.
