A healthcare-focused venture capital firm is seeking a Venture Capital Associate to join its investment team in San Francisco (in-person). The firm focuses on growth-stage healthcare companies, including healthcare services, medical devices, digital health, healthcare technology, and biotech. Associates will gain meaningful exposure across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and diligence to portfolio management, within a lean and collaborative team environment.

• Build detailed financial and valuation models, including operating models, scenario analyses, and return projections.
• Support all aspects of investment diligence, including financial, commercial, operational, and market analysis.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and materials for internal discussions and investment committee review.
• Conduct market research, assist with sourcing opportunities, and evaluate potential investments.
• Partner with portfolio company leadership on performance tracking, strategic initiatives, and operational improvements

• 2-3 years of experience in investment banking (healthcare coverage preferred) or management consulting.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication, able to present complex analyses clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
