Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting monthly and annual close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and providing clear financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Compile cost reports, billings, bank reconciliations, and other financial reports.
• Prepare federal, state, and regulatory filings in compliance with guidelines.
• Maintain ledgers, journals, registers, and other financial records.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to communicate financial data clearly and effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with general ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
• Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing needs.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and financial reporting software.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to accounting and financial reporting.

This pay range represents Covelo Direct's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered will be dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.
