• Accountant 5 San Francisco, California
• Ability to manage complex accounting projects, work independently and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• SEC and Regulatory reporting experience.
• Demonstrate a high level of initiative.
• Supports Wholesale Services, Commercial Banking and Corporate Banking.
• Build valuable accounting experience including SEC and Regulatory Reporting for one of the largest loan portfolios in Wholesale Banking.
• AFS and LIQ loan systems.
• Completing complex reporting requests. Analyzing amounts reported to explain significant variances
• Evaluating proposed reporting changes and integrating the changes into reporting process
• Providing accounting guidance to the loan services team, including accounting for loan fees and costs
• Working with Credit Resolution Group on complex loan modifications
• Reviewing data from the general ledger, unit reports and various financial systems to ensure accuracy and explain variances
• Annual FAS 91 cost studies
• Ad Hoc projects
• 6+ years accounting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible, adjusting to changing priorities and works well under pressure
• Experience with financial reporting under regulatory, GAAP and/or SEC guidelines with demonstrated ability to apply such guidelines
• CPA certification
