As Relyance AI’s VP of Finance
, you will lead all accounting and financial planning and analysis functions, driving strategic financial decisions, and ensuring robust financial health to support Relyance AI’s rapid growth and mission to be the new standard in trust and governance.

You will leverage your deep FP&A expertise to provide critical insights, manage financial and accounting operations, and collaborate closely with leadership. This role is pivotal in shaping Relyance AI’s financial future and directly contributing to our overall success.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Business Partner to the CEO – Translate product bets into capital‑efficient growth; pressure‑test every BU plan and surface data‑driven go/no‑go decisions to CEO & Board. Lead and oversee all aspects of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and financial modeling to support strategic initiatives while balancing operational goals. Provide critical financial insights and recommendations to the executive team and department heads to support business decision‑making, resource allocation, and performance optimization.
  • Build a Predictive FP&A Engine – Build the next‑gen scenario‑based models (top‑down & bottom‑up) that move from “rear‑view reporting” to real‑time course‑correction. Develop and implement robust financial strategies, systems, and processes that drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability for a high‑growth SaaS company.
  • Operational Excellence – Provide critical financial insights and recommendations to the executive team and department heads to support business decision‑making, resource allocation, and performance optimization. Manage and optimize cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditures to ensure the company’s financial stability and maximize returns. Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

    Direct month‑end close, financial reporting and analysis, and present clear and concise financial results, KPIs, and actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fundraising and Investor Relations – Own financial narrative, data room, and term‑sheet modeling for growth equity, PE, and prospective public investors. Lead audit and due diligence efforts and financial integration for potential mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships, if applicable.
  • Risk and Governance Champion – Oversee compliance with revenue recognition rules, including ASC
    606, partnering with sales and legal teams on deal language. Establish IPO‑ready controls and ASC
    606 compliance.
  • Collaboration – Collaborate cross‑functionally with all departments to understand their financial needs, support their growth initiatives, and ensure financial discipline throughout the organization.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance roles, with a strong emphasis on FP&A within a high‑growth technology or SaaS company.
  • Experience leading organizations through investor relations, IPO, M&A, and funding events.
  • Deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting methodologies, and budgeting processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a metrics‑driven approach to financial performance and strategic thinking to connect financial data to business outcomes.
  • Experience implementing and optimizing financial systems and tools to improve efficiency and reporting.
  • Track record of success in a startup environment where you played a pivotal role in financial scaling and strategic growth.
Bonus Points
  • An MBA degree.
  • Experience with AI/ML companies or the data security/governance space.
  • Experience in investor relations and fundraising activities.
