About the Role
Mercury seeks a Senior Risk Strategist to own card fraud and dispute strategy, combining data-driven analysis with cross-functional execution to reduce fraud losses while protecting customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Own strategy and execution for card fraud and contribute to broader fraud programs
- Design fraud controls using quantitative analysis and define tracking metrics
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Legal on scalable solutions
- Lead cross-functional efforts to implement risk solutions and process improvements
- 6+ years in analytical roles with 4+ years in card fraud detection/strategy
- Deep expertise in card/transaction fraud and card network rules
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience with risk scoring/modeling
- Experience balancing risk, compliance, and customer experience
