AR Analyst

Interim Accounts Receivable Analyst

Our client, a rapidly scaling technology company, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to support core receivables operations during a period of rapid growth and process transformation.

This role is hybrid, at their office in San Francisco, CA. Remote candidates will be considered. This engagement has a duration of 3 months with the possibility to extend.

• Execute end?to?end collections activities across an assigned customer portfolio
• Proactively engage customers to secure timely payment of outstanding invoices
• Monitor aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on risk and exposure
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer billing and payment inquiries
• Process and apply customer payments accurately across multiple channels
• Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, and billing discrepancies
• Investigate and resolve billing disputes in coordination with internal teams
• Prepare AR aging reports, collection metrics, and cash forecasting inputs
• Support month?end close activities, including account reconciliations and reporting
• Identify trends and contribute insights to improve billing accuracy and collections efficiency

• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or related finance roles
• Strong understanding of AR processes, including cash application and dispute resolution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer?service mindset
• Experience working with ERP systems and large data sets
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage high?volume workloads accurately
