Financial Manager
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director Strategic Finance to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a technology‑driven environment.
Location:
San Francisco, CA – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Compensation: $232,000 – $290,000 annually.
Responsibilities- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for Ads, the company Business, and Marketing
- Partner with senior leaders to shape investment cases and ensure financial rigor
- Own the consolidated financial narrative for business performance reviews
- Conduct forecast updates and quarterly business reviews with in-depth analysis
- Lead long‑term strategic planning and capital allocation recommendations
- Develop advanced ROI frameworks tailored to each business's economics
- Design and implement automated financial models and dashboards for real‑time visibility
- 12+ years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience
- 8+ years of experience in technology companies, preferably in marketplace or advertising sectors
- Direct experience in an advertising or media business with knowledge of CPM/CPC economics
- Proven track record in growth/performance marketing finance and managing CAC/LTV frameworks
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, capable of presenting to C‑suite leadership
- Experience in building and leading high‑performing FP&A teams in fast‑growth environments
