Blackstone Credit & Insurance (BXCI) is a leading credit investor, managing diverse credit portfolios worldwide. The BCBS unit focuses on systematic investment management of corporate bond portfolios, delivering technology-driven, data-first research and trading solutions.

The researcher will develop and manage systematic investment portfolios. Working closely with senior researchers and portfolio managers, you will support and expand existing models, design new credit signals, and provide market analysis and client‑driven insights.

• Data validation, analytics, and model output review.
• Portfolio and risk analysis.
• Signal development and competitor research.
• Portfolio optimizations and calibration.
• Trading research and modeling.
• Modeling hedging exposures and PnL.
• Assisting with client reporting, content, and performance and attribution analysis.
• Market analysis and managing reporting on market news and events.
• Using and creating model‑management tools to identify risks and prioritize research.
• Developing dashboards and interactive GUI for portfolio management.
• Product development and support, partnering with client development.
• Partnering with PMs and operations support as needed.

• Minimum 2+ years of experience with systematic portfolios and portfolio analysis.
• Experience with large data sets and sophisticated analysis.
• Domain experience with credit and rates.
• Strong systematic thinking and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve complex problems.
• Team collaboration and communication skills.
• Decision‑making skills with a focus on detail.
• Respect for risk management, compliance, and ethical standards.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel.
• Experience with AI foundational models, machine learning, and neural networks is a plus.

Expected annual base salary range: $150,000 – $200,000. Actual compensation will reflect experience, skills, and job location.
